About

Vincent Zuniaga was born and raised in Caracas, the Capital City of Venezuela. He moved to the USA over 20 years ago and became a US Citizen in 2013.

Vincent’s early art influence was his grandma. Vincent and “Mamaveja” frequently visited Art Museums, Theater, Cultural Events and Concerts in Caracas where family members performed.

Vincent enjoyed drawing and painting as a child. His grandma believed that he had a gift for art and encouraged him to enroll in art school. Instead, the universe had other plans and Vincent travelled the world showing champion dogs in numerous countries. He always made a point to maintain his eye for art, no matter where he was.

Vincent has dedicated his creative vision to original fine art photography and digital painting. A self-taught artist, he has diligently studied and practiced techniques learned through Public Library resources, tutorials and hands-on workshops.

Vincent approaches his art based on a variety of subjects and interests. Heavily influenced by “Mother Nature,” the movement of water in his long exposure photography is a powerful and mesmerizing force. Vincent also loves to combine the colors, shapes and textures of constellations and nebula with human forms to create unique imagery reminding us that we are all made of “star-stuff,” as astrophysicist, Carl Sagan famously said.

Vincent’s commissioned dog portraits have been sold internationally, becoming instant classics. Vincent has also been exploring wildlife portraits and studies, particularly fascinated with endangered and threatened species. Vincent hopes that his compositions will spark interest in protection and conservation efforts so that we can save imperiled species in our lifetime.

Vincent Zuniaga’s imaginative pieces and digital painting creations are mysteriously aligned with the onset of a new era of art for today’s world
