The Body Art Collection transforms the human form into a canvas for imagination, where galaxies, oceans, landscapes, and light become part of the body itself. Blending photography, digital painting, and storytelling, these artworks explore the connection between humanity, nature, and the universe, inviting viewers to see themselves as part of something far greater.
Collection Introduction:
The human body is the first canvas.
In this collection, I transform the human form into a living landscape, painting galaxies, nebulae, oceans, auroras, and natural wonders directly onto the contours of the body.
Each artwork begins as a photograph and evolves through hours of digital hand painting, creating a fusion of photography, painting, and imagination.
Inspired by the groundbreaking discoveries of Margaret Burbidge and Carl Sagan’s reflection that “we are made of star stuff,” Body Art Collection is my visual interpretation of humanity’s cosmic origins.
Gallery Edition Metal Prints are limited to only seven pieces per size worldwide. Each print is hand-signed, numbered, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Once an edition sells out, it will never be reproduced in that size.

Artist Statement:
Inspired by the groundbreaking discoveries of Margaret Burbidge and Carl Sagan's reflection that “we are made of star stuff,” the Body Art Collection is my visual interpretation of humanity's connection to the cosmos.
As a child growing up in Venezuela, I watched Cosmos with Carl Sagan and became fascinated by the beauty and vastness of the universe. Images captured by NASA revealed worlds untouched by human hands, reminding me how small we are within something unimaginably large and extraordinary. Yet those images also represent one of humanity's greatest achievements—we are able to observe, explore, and understand the universe around us.
I chose the human body as my canvas because we are part of that universe. The same elements forged within stars exist within each of us. The female form plays a central role in this collection as a symbol of creation, life, and renewal, while also honoring Margaret Burbidge, whose scientific discoveries helped reveal our cosmic origins.
Through the fusion of photography and digital painting, these artworks celebrate the connection between humanity, nature, and the stars from which we came.

To me, the Northern Lights are the fireworks of the Universe—mysterious, vibrant, and alive with energy.
